The Famous Game Developer Turned 51 Today
No More Heroes creator Goichi Suda (also known as “Suda51”) turned 51 years old today and Suda let his fans know that he was in on the joke by tweeting, “As of today, I am now literally SUDA’51’.”
Suda is well known for creating surreal games that all have a distinct style such as the aforementioned No More Heroes series, 2012’s Lollipop Chainsaw, and his most famous release, 2005’s Killer7.
His development studio, Grasshopper Manufacture, is about to release the latest game in the No More Heroes series, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, on January 18th for the Nintendo Switch. We published a hands-on preview for the game back in October and it was a positive preview overall.
