It’s Time to Get Intimate With Rico
Square Enix released a new Just Cause 4 trailer today that sees gameplay footage spliced with the game’s developers explaining how they’re injecting narrative into every little detail of the game.
The Just Cause series is known more for its over-the-top sandbox action than its not-so-compelling narratives, so it’s interesting to see that the team has decided to put such a focus on it this time around to round out the experience. It really shows too, even the E3 trailer has some more cinematic moments that looks to put characters at the forefront of the game, and feed players some food for thought regarding Rico’s motivations and his relationship with those around him.
In other recent Just Cause news, Square Enix dropped a new gameplay video just a couple weeks ago, and before that they gave us all a good look at the new game’s map.
