The Soul Burns This October
Announced back in December and followed by pretty much radio silence since, Soul Calibur VI got a new story trailer today at E3, revealing a suite of collector’s editions and delivering on it’s promise of a 2018 release date.
The game’s Deluxe Edition includes the game itself, a season pass set to include three new fighters and two armor packs, a soundtrack (on disc, just the way everyone likes it), and an awesome steelbook case with a built-in soundbox containing 4 different voiceover clips. Suddenly, I want every video game package to talk to me. Let me carry it around like a quirky sidekick. The Deluxe Edition will beat up your wallet for $99.99 USD.
The Collector’s Edition includes everything in the Deluxe Edition, along with a 120-page artbook and a 12-inch figurine of the series’ character Sophitia. It’ll beat up your wallet even harder for $149.99 USD.
All three editions of the game drop later this year on October 19th for PS4, Xbox One and PC, and will feature everyone’s favorite Geralt from The Witcher series.
Which edition will you be picking up? Let us know in the comments! And be sure to keep up with all of our E3 coverage including the debut of the new Super Smash Bros. for Switch, and the new Shonen Jump fighting game!
