3. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment – November 6
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is the third game in Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda Musou spin-off series. This one tells Zelda’s story during Tears of the Kingdom, and fills in a lot of the blanks in the current Legend of Zelda timeline’s history. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a major Switch 2 exclusive and the first of the three major titles on the Top 5 Video Games Arriving in November 2025.
2. Kirby Air Riders – November 20
There aren’t many Switch 2 exclusives, and for some reason, Nintendo is releasing another kart racer in 2025. Despite its poor timing, Kirby Air Riders is a big deal because it’s the first non-Super Smash Bros. game developed by Masahiro Sakurai in 13 years! Sakurai actually created Kirby and directed the three great Kirby games: Dream Land, Adventure, and Super Star. Nintendo has a second Nintendo Direct, focusing on Kirby Air Riders, coming up. They’re really hoping Sakurai working on Kirby again will be a massive success.
1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – November 14
As much as people love Kirby, and Masahiro Sakurai, more people love Call of Duty. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is 2025’s Call of Duty release. Although there was a Black Ops game in 2024, it was developed by Sledgehammer Games. Black Ops 7 is developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. Their last game was Black Ops: Cold War, which was released during the middle of the Covid pandemic, and also while the prior year’s Modern Warfare was still massively popular. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of Call of Duty game they can make under better circumstances. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be available for everything except Nintendo consoles.
