Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026
The entire Fall video game release schedule has been skewed by Grand Theft Auto VI. Grand Theft Auto V is the 3rd best-selling video game of all time. It’s way behind Tetris and Minecraft’s sales, but over 100 million sales ahead of the 4th best-selling game. Because of this, September and October were even more stacked than usual. Only a few games have dared challenge GTA in November. Our runner-up this month is the very first game announced to release in November after Grand Theft Auto VI’s date dropped. That game is Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, a remaster of a beloved GameCube 3D arena fighting game. Without further ado, here are the Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026:
5. Pikmin 4: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy – November 12
Normally we don’t include Nintendo Switch 2 Editions in articles like the Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026, because there’s already a current-gen version available. But November is slim pickin’s, and Pikmin 4: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy has a lot of added content. Dandori Academy adds (an eventual) 72 challenge stages, of varying difficulties. Pikmin 4: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy is a Switch 2 exclusive.
4. Zero Parades: Director’s Cut – November 3 – PS5
Zero Parades: Director’s Cut is the spiritual successor to beloved CRPG Disco Elysium. It’s been available on PC for most of 2026, but now the game’s arriving on consoles. Like Disco Elysium, the main character has split personalities. Combat encounters take the form of conversations with lots of dialogue options. It’s surprising that a major game like Zero Parades: Director’s Cut would risk a November release, but, somehow, there are two other games ranked higher on the Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026. This former PC exclusive will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.
3. World of Warcraft: Forever – November 4
World of Warcraft: Forever is a major new version of the World of Warcraft MMORPG. It will run alongside regular WOW, and WOW: Classic. Forever is designed around the original 2004 version of WOW. It continues that setting, with new events, characters, and general expansion. Blizzard probably thinks WOW isn’t competing with GTA, so it’s an obvious high-ranking game on the Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026. World of Warcraft: Forever is a PC exclusive.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – November 5
Nintendo is really trying to challenge Grand Theft Auto VI, by releasing its biggest first party game of the year in the same month. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is a remake of, arguably, the greatest adventure game of all time. Fans have been crying out for an Ocarina of Time remake for a long time. Most didn’t think it would ever be a reality. I can’t believe we live in a world where The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time isn’t the #1 game on the Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026. It’s a Switch 2 exclusive.
1. Grand Theft Auto VI – November 19
The #1 game on the Top 5 Upcoming Video Games November 2026 is Grand Theft Auto VI. It’s an open world sandbox with a romance at the heart of its narrative. Grand Theft Auto is one of the few series that seems to please players of almost every genre taste. The industry is saying Grand Theft Auto VI will change the video game landscape. Hopefully its impact will be much more positive than the death of physical media. Grand Theft Auto VI will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Let’s see what kinds of records it breaks…
