Christmas is coming, and that means there are a bunch of massive game releases in the coming weeks. Things slow down in the second half of the month, but those first two weeks are gonna be fire! The honorable mentions this month are a little different. The first is that Cuphead is getting a long-awaited physical release on PS4, Switch, and Xbox. It will include all updates and The Delicious Last Course DLC. The second honorable mention is that The Witcher 3 is getting a free upgraded version for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. 5. Need for Speed: Unbound – December 2
Need for Speed: Unbound is the 25th game in the Need for Speed franchise. It’s been three years since the last entry, Need for Speed: Heat. It’s been a while since there was a true classic in the series, and Unbound feels more like a side-entry, than a massive return to glory. But maybe we’re wrong, and Need for Speed: Unbound will blow everyone away. It’s definitely a major release, but the lowest entry in The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in December 2022. Need for Speed: Unbound will be available for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
4. Dragon Quest Treasures – December 9
Dragon Quest Treasures is another spin-off in our Top 5 Video Games Arriving in December 2022. It’s developed by Tose who are responsible for the Dragon Quest Heroes and Monsters series. Gameplay details have been scarce, but it looks more like an action JRPG, than a turn-based one. There will be an emphasis on treasure collecting. The story is a Dragon Quest XI prequel, as it stars Erik, a party member from Dragon Quest XI, and his sister Mia. Dragon Quest Treasures will be a Switch exclusive.
