The Worst
Destruction All-Stars

Originally slated to be a PS5 title, Destruction All-Stars was later moved to release in February to avoid the slew of new launch games. Then confirmed as a PS+ offering, Destruction All-Stars is a vehicular combat game that allows for traversal on foot as well. Despite being a next-gen offering, we found in our review that “Destruction AllStars had a chance to deliver some creative car combat and it mostly set it sights on being mediocre and forgettable.”
Silver Chains

While releasing in January, Silver Chains is on our list of games for February due to its late month release as well as our review being published in February. Silver Chains is a first-person horror game with both puzzle and action elements. Unfortunately, glitches and uninspired gameplay ultimately ruin the experience. In our review, we found that “it would almost have made a better movie than a video game.”
Curious Expedition 2

Much like Silver Chains, Curious Expedition 2 released late last month and finds itself on this list as well. This adventure game is akin to the classics such as Oregon Trail and appears to be a fun time at the outset. However, as we looked deeper into the game, we found that it was marred by a shallow gameplay loop, and we concluded in our review that “the gameplay is fun for a time, but once you see what Curious Expedition 2 has to offer, you will start to look beneath the surface.”
