Ranking 2015’s PS4 Exclusives from Worst to First

13 – Axiom Verge

Ok, so having Axiom Verge this low on the list is essentially a testament to exactly how good the PS4 had it this year. This Metroidvania inspired game from developer Thomas Happ was universally well received and was even nominated for Best Indie Game at the recent 2015 Game Awards. Classic Metroid looks and strong gameplay should put Axiom Verge on many favorites lists for 2015.

12 – SOMA

Put on your big boy pants if you’re thinking of diving into SOMA from developer, Frictional Games. This sci-fi, survival horror puts you in the first-person shoes of Simon Jarrett as he attempts to escape the underwater research facility, PATHOS-II. Good old puzzle solving and some seriously creepy psychological horror will guide you through your journey… if you can handle it that is.

10 – Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below

*** FULL REVIEW ***

JRPG fans rejoice! While a  ton of JRPGs do make their way over the pond to North American shores, Dragon Quest is likely one of the better known of the bunch. Classic hack n’ slash gameplay with a suitably cheeseball ‘light vs dark’ plot line it is sure to please old fans and new alike. Let’s not forget that it’s insanely gorgeous to boot.
