Space, the Final Frontier…
Space is on our mind today. Why? Because since 1997, the first Friday of May is observed as the National Space Day. National Space Day is a day where we reflect on everything that is so amazing about that vastness that lies beyond our planetary front door. But there’s no reason we can’t reflect a little in the comfort of our own home! I’d recommend kicking off the day by re-watching the “Saving the World – with Space!” episode of Bill Nye Saves the World on Netflix. After that, boot up one of these recently released space-related games and boldly go where no one has gone before!
Mass Effect: Andromeda
The Mass Effect trilogy holds a special place in many gamers hearts, and now we’re invited back to the universe – only this time we’re dumped in another galaxy altogether! In Mass Effect Andromeda, you’ll take on the role of Scott or Sara Ryder in a space adventure throughout Andromeda galaxy. You’ll encounter a number of familiar races, and the game does a great job of retaining much of what made the original trilogy great. Plus you can be sure there will be more Mass Effect sooner than later, so you may as well get started now! Be sure to check out our review of Mass Effect: Andromeda!
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
Gearbox made many fans happy this generation by giving us a remastered version of the hit game Bulletstorm! In Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, you’ll follow the story of Grayson Hunt and his crew after they crash-land on an abandoned planet. There he’ll have to work with this long-time nemesis, General Sarrano, to escape this world. Oh, and you’ll also get the opportunity to play through the entire game as Duke Nukem (and it’s just as awesome as you would imagine!). Need more proof? Check out our review!
