5 Reasons Why We Are Super Hyped for Rage 2

The Soundtrack

If you enjoyed Doom’s music, you’ll love the tunes in Rage 2. It’s full of those hard metal electronic riffs that ramp up when the action becomes intense and settle when all the dead bodies are laying on the ground. The music instantly creates the perfect atmosphere and is an element I absolutely loved about Rage 2.

Rage 2

Visuals and Aesthetic

Rage 2 is a good looking game and has that Bethesda polish. The levels are wonderfully designed and detailed. The characters have a neon over-the-top looks about them and it is certainly a world I want to explore.

Killstreaks

Rage 2 is a game that rewards you for raging. In other words, playing fast and aggressively is the name of the game. Rage 2 gives you incentive to mow down enemies in rapid succession as doing so builds up your killstreak which boosts your overdrive meter. Your overdrive helps regenerate your health and increases the amount of damage you can deliver. It is a slick and rewarding little mechanic that rewards badass players.

We still have a lot of questions about Rage 2 as the demo only gave us a super small glimpse of what we can expect. Nevertheless, we are pretty excited with what we see. It has great gunplay mechanics, a solid score, slick abilities and a Doom-like vibe. We will be sure to share more Rage 2 news with you as we get closer to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC release in Spring, 2019.
