3. Resident Evil Resistance
The Resident Evil series has been killing it as of late, with successes in the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, as well as Resident Evil Village being unveiled a short while ago. Unfortunately for Capcom, it isn’t all uphill for the franchise as Resident Evil Resistance is a stumble for the series’ climb. Though not the third worst scoring game of the year so far, Resident Evil Resistance is among the highest profiled games with a bad score. While acting as the multiplayer component for Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil Resistance has demonstrated “incredibly poor combat mechanics, framerate, map design, and loss in fluidity with movement.”
2. Femida
Femid is a classic-styled point-and-click adventure game in which the player takes on the role of a criminal judge. The game revolves around the gameplay loop of making decisions in court which ultimately affects the world as well as the player character’s life. While on paper, the game appears to be a decently fun time, its poor translation, poor pace, and overall unpolish push the game way up on this list. In our review, we noted that “Femida tackles a few interesting subjects, but fails on its execution in nearly all regards.”
1. Cooking Mama: Cookstar
Cooking Mama has been a long-running franchise known for being accessible to gamers of all skill levels. Because of this, the games have garnered a decent following, and the announcement of a new Cooking Mama game for the Nintendo Switch, Cooking Mama: Cookstar, generated a decent level of attention. Aside from the issues it faced with the launch itself, its monotonous gameplay and poor controls sank the title quickly. In our review, we concluded that “Cookstar has nuked the kitchen and left us standing among a snowfall of ash and burnt Chicken Tikka Masala.”
