Ambrosia Sky Is Releasing Its First Act on PC Next Month

Welcome to Ambrosia Sky

Toronto-based developer Soft Rains has announced that the first act of Ambrosia Sky will launch on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on November 10. Revealed during IGN Fan Fest: Fall Edition with a brand-new trailer, the game will unfold across three acts. The latter parts will be coming out in 2026.

Set in a haunting future where death and decay intertwine, Ambrosia Sky puts players in the role of Dalia. She is a field scientist from a mysterious order devoted to unlocking human immortality. Sent to a farming colony on Saturn’s outer rings, a place she once called home, Dalia discovers it abandoned and overtaken by aggressive alien fungi. With only a chemical sprayer and a grappling hook, she must cleanse the contamination and uncover what happened to the people she knew. And ultimately face unsettling truths about life and what comes after.

Act One introduces players to this atmospheric world filled with decaying structures, unpredictable alien ecosystems, and gravity-defying hazards. The game features full voice acting, a deep crafting and progression system. There is also a variety of mission types across replayable locations. Players will encounter multiple strains of harvestable fungus, each with its own unique properties, as they navigate through the eerie remnants of Dalia’s past.

An updated demo is currently available on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest until October 20. It offers a first look at the game’s cleaning mechanics, system-driven interactions, and tense, survival-focused exploration. With its blend of narrative depth and experimental gameplay, Ambrosia Sky promises an unforgettable first act when it launches next month.
