God of War Ragnarok Will Have Four Different Graphics Modes

God of War Ragnarok Devs Reveal More Information About How It Will Perform

God of War Ragnarok is finally coming out in a few weeks. With that said, previews have been making their rounds on the Internet. Fortunately for fans who have been waiting for quite a while, they have more details on how the sequel is going to perform.

Devs have confirmed that God of War Ragnarok is going to have four different graphics modes that players can choose from. As expected, this will depend on their personal preferences and on what type of TV they are going to use.

Favor Resolution Mode is going to lock the game at 30 FPS with a 4K resolution. Favor Performance Mode, on the other hand, will lock the frame rate to 60 with less graphical fidelity. It is worth noting, however, that players who have a TV that supports an HDMI 2.1 connection can also get to enjoy the game’s higher end options.

High Frame Rate On for the Favor Resolution Mode will bring the game back up to 4K resolution with a 40 FPS lock. This is a bit of an odd number for a frame rate. However, it is still relatively higher than the other mode’s 30 FPS.

Furthermore, High Frame Rate On for Favor Performance Mode will have a target of 120 FPS. Players should be fully aware that it might not always that particular frame rate. However, the graphics will look very smooth and any of those high or triple digit stages.

God of War Ragnarok will evolve its combat mechanics with new elemental attacks. However, what fans really love about the game is that it also deepens the relationships that Kratos has with his son Atreus and his severed head friend Mimir.
