PlayStation Announces 30th Anniversary Hardware Available Again

PlayStation Hits the Big 3-0 Again

Thirty years, three decades, ten years three times. No matter how you phrase it, that is a long time. Of course, any company making it thirty years needs to celebrate the occasion. Sometimes, more than once. Today, PlayStation is happy to announce a limited line of 30th Anniversary hardware will be available again for a limited time. Announced on Twitter/X , PlayStation has just unveiled a 30th anniversary controller and console. A press release provides some small details about the products. 

The special edition products originally launched last September.  However, the PlayStation 30th Anniversary controller and console are available once more for pre-order beginning July 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM EDT. Interestingly, the design of both aims to mimic the original PS1 bringing a blast from the past. Both the DualSense Controller and the PS5 console take after the original PlayStation which launched all the way back in 1994. Of course, these products will be limited edition and only available for a short time. In fact, only 12,300 of these consoles will be available.
