The Witcher Saga ContinuesÂ
Apparently gamers aren’t quite done in the world of the Witcher yet. Today, Witcher developer, CD Projekt Red confirms that they are currently developing the next game in the Witcher series that will start a new saga. In a Tweet the developers explain that the new game will be running on Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, they claim to be working alongside Epic Games. The partnership aims to help with everything from technical development, to licensing on Unreal Engine 5.Â

It has been six years since the Witcher 3’s final DLC, Blood and Wine, was released. Of course, this means any Witcher news is welcome news. However from the sounds of CD Projekt Red’s statement our hero, Geralt of Rivia, is not looking like the main character of this new saga. It appears the medallion on the teaser image is not the iconic School of the Wolf worn by Geralt. On the contrary, it resembles more of a feline, making many believe the star of this new saga is a School of the Cat Witcher. Yet, for now, fans will have to wait for information.Â
Having won over 250 awards since its release, The Witcher 3 was a massive success. Now, years later, fans have more monster-slaying to look forward to. Sadly, it’s very early to begin speculations. In fact the developers were explicate in stating that no further details about the game are available. So, Witchers, are you ready? Steel and Silver. Â
