The biggest news of the day was the reveal of Five Nights at Freddy’s as this year’s anniversary Chapter. Marking the most requested collaboration in the game’s history, the chapter introduces Springtrap as the latest Killer. This is a landmark moment for fans, as it is the first time the character is playable in any game. The chapter also includes a new map set inside the eerie Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, promising plenty of nods to the original franchise and hidden surprises for players to uncover.

Adding to the excitement, the Springtrap Chapter will feature a Legendary Outfit based on the “Yellow Rabbit” version of the character, portrayed by Matthew Lillard in the Five Nights at Freddy’s film. Lillard has not only lent his likeness but also recorded original voice lines specifically for the game.

Beyond the major crossover, the developers shared a glimpse of the upcoming Witcher Collection and reaffirmed their commitment to improving the game’s quality of life features. They also teased a new take on the “You are the Hero” concept, hinting at more personalized experiences for players.

With fresh content, beloved characters, and ongoing improvements, Dead by Daylight shows no signs of slowing down. Fans eager to dive into the latest chapter will not have to wait long, as Springtrap and Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza are arriving soon.
