Start Hunting in Dino Trail Path
After more than three years in development, Dino Path Trail has officially launched on Steam. Created by indie studio Void Pointer and published by Human Qube, the game drops players into a harsh alternate frontier where dinosaurs never went extinct and the Wild West never faded. You can purchase the game for just $13.49 at a 10% discount until 16th May.
Players take on the role of Lucy, a determined gunslinger searching for her kidnapped sister. Her journey unfolds across procedurally generated regions, from sun-scorched deserts to icy mountains and swampy lowlands. Each run presents new dangers, ranging from ruthless outlaws to hungry predators, and survival means carefully managing hunger, thirst, health, and resources. The longer you live, the tougher the world becomes.
At the heart of the game is a mobile, dino-pulled base camp. Players can upgrade tools, expand shelters, and keep moving to outpace rising threats. But safety is always temporary. Combat is punishing and dynamic, with enemies growing more aggressive over time. Weapon customization and elemental ammunition offer strategic depth in high-stakes firefights.
Dino Path Trail blends roguelike mechanics with a persistent story. Each run uncovers more about Lucy, her mysterious ability to return from death, and the world’s strange, broken history. While gear resets between sessions, recipes, upgrades, and lore discoveries carry over, offering long-term progression.
The developers added a layer of scientific realism by working with a paleontologist to create believable prehistoric creatures. These aren’t exaggerated monsters, as evolution and survival have turned them into dangerous creatures.
With its unique mix of survival mechanics, narrative intrigue, and dinosaur-infested chaos, Dino Path Trail offers a fresh take on the roguelike genre.
