The Multiverse Is Under Attack in Serious Sam: Shatterverse
Serious Sam is taking its trademark chaos to the multiverse. Behaviour Interactive and Devolver Digital have officially released Serious Sam: Shatterverse today for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The game is available for $19.99, with an additional 10% launch-week discount.
Developed by the studio behind Dead by Daylight, Shatterverse puts a fresh spin on the classic boomer shooter formula. The game combines the series’ explosive gunplay and massive enemy hordes with cooperative multiplayer and roguelite mechanics.
Up to five players can join forces and battle through constantly shifting universes. They can use powerful boons, run modifiers, and plenty of firepower to take down Mental’s forces. The story follows multiple versions of Sam from different dimensions. And now they must work together after Mental tears apart the barriers between universes.
Players will travel across these fractured worlds and tackle challenges left unfinished by other Sams. All while taking on five of Mental’s most dangerous lieutenants. Those looking for a more traditional experience can also jump into the campaign alone.
