Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Officially Supports VR
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 has officially been updated on PC to support several VR headsets including HTC, Oculus, Valve, and Windows Mixed Reality. Fans of the latest and greatest flight simulator can now fully immerse themselves into the cockpit with VR headsets rather than relying on a triple-screen setup. Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on PC and through Xbox Game Pass for PC, but it will also be coming to Xbox Series X/S in the near future. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate brings the Game Pass lineup to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices for a monthly subscription fee.
The latest Microsoft Flight Simulator Feature Discovery episode focused on the addition of VR support coming to the flight sim, and fans of the game will be able to play the whole game as they would on PC in VR. Gamers can always purchase Microsoft Flight Simulator stand-alone, but Microsoft is currently offering three months of Xbox Game Pass for $1 to people who haven’t subscribed before. With Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 included in Xbox Game Pass for PC, and the title coming to Xbox Game Pass shortly, the subscription service continues to be worth the monthly fee.
Gamers who got their hands on an Xbox Series X/S already will be pleased to know that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 will be coming to Xbox Series X/S in Summer 2021, leaving console fans only a few months left to wait. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 was recently awarded the Best Simulation Game of this year at The Game Awards 2020, cementing it as one of the best titles to release this year.
