Phil Spencer Is Hyping up the Next Xbox Series X Showcase
When responding to a Microsoft fan eagerly anticipating Xbox Series X news, Phil Spencer teased an upcoming showcase that will feature more games that will be available on the next-gen platform. The Xbox Game Studios team is working hard from home to get the showcase ready for the near future and just like the last Inside Xbox, fans can expect to see some executives, developers, etc. giving their thoughts via webcam. The Xbox Series X will still be releasing this holiday season according to Microsoft executives and it will be launching with Halo Infinite.
Twitter user Woggerman implored Phil Spencer to give them details on when the next digital showcase from Microsoft will be and whether or not it will include more games than Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga and Spencer had some information to share. “Reviewed plans yesterday for continued sharing through launch. Team is doing great work and adapting,” claimed Phil Spencer. “I’ve never been more excited about Xbox plans. We’ve heard you, you want transparency/authenticity. We plan to keep showing that way, next step is not too much of a wait (games).” So far we don’t know too many games coming to the Xbox Series X other than Halo Infinite and Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga so we’re looking forward to seeing what else is joining the next-gen Xbox lineup soon.
Matt Booty recently let fans of Halo know that Halo Infinite will be releasing on schedule, despite the COVID-19 pandemic happening right now, which led to Xbox fans speculating the next digital showcase. The most recent Inside Xbox focused mostly on Obsidian Entertainment’s Grounded, Rare Studio’s Sea of Thieves and upcoming Game Pass titles, with no unknown titles announced or teased. Considering Phil Spencer is saying the next step isn’t too much of a wait from now, we hope to see some big Xbox news soon.
