Ghost Recon Breakpoint Finally Raids the Google Stadia
Ghost Recon Breakpoint has released for the Google Stadia and it’s the first game to utilize the service’s unique Stream Connect. The Stream Connect is a feature that allows a complex picture-in-picture set up and in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, it will be used to see all three of your co-op partners in real time side by side by side. This will help Ghosts link up and coordinate their raids more seamlessly than on other platforms Breakpoint is available on. Prior to the Google Stadia launch, Ghost Recon Breakpoint was on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
With Ghost Recon Breakpoint coming to the Google Stadia comes new features to the game with Stream Connect finally arriving on a title on the platform in an optimal way. Stadia gamers won’t have to download the content of Breakpoint or any upcoming DLC once they’ve made their purchase as the game will seamlessly stream to the platform just like Borderlands 3 which just recently launched on the game streaming service as well. Gamers will be able to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint in 4K with a Stadia Pro subscription and the appropriate TV setup.
While Ghost Recon Breakpoint launched to a lot of controversy, Ubisoft intends on reversing the monetization mistakes they’ve made since then while delivering compelling new content and intense raids. Considering the Stream Connect makes so much sense for this title and it’s the first title to utilize the feature, we wonder why Breakpoint wasn’t a Google Stadia launch title as it really shows what the platform is capable of. There are some excellent new mechanics introduced with Breakpoint compared to Wildlands and it’s worth giving it a play. Check out our full review for it here!
