Now the Nazi’s Are Gone You’ll Have to Shoot Zombies Instead
The well-known Sniper Elite franchise has had major success over the years. No other series has been able to grant players the ability to dispatch enemies in such a smooth and salifying way. However, as great as the Sniper Elite franchise is, it is its spin-off series that is getting everyone talking. Whereas the Sniper Elite games went for somewhat of a realistic approach. The Zombie Army games did not. Zombie Army 4: Dead War has just been given a release date along with a brand new trailer to boot.
Dead War is going to be taking place across Europe in 1946. From what we can see in the trailer it seems as though the players will be tasked with surviving the zombie outbreak. Of course, there will be unique weapons to use and enemies to fight. Same old, same old.
The series has borrowed heavily from the better known “Nazi Zombies” mode that Call of Duty started in 2008 with World at War. Zombie Army 4 has added its own flair to the genre though. It tends to be much more story-driven and is played with a third-person perspective. This might sound quite benign but it is noticeable to anyone who is familiar with the Call of Duty version.
If you are interested in trying out a new take on a somewhat tiresome video game trope, you should give this game a look. Zombie Army 4:Dead War will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on February 2nd, 2020.
