A Look At Super Mario Maker 2’s Story Mode, Course Maker & Course World in Gameplay Videos

The perfect blend of creativity and gameplay on the Nintendo Switch, Super Mario Maker 2 makes its debut later this month. The first title on the Nintendo WiiU featured some crazy user-created levels, and we expect more of that from the sequel. While it may be easy to describe it as “more of the same”, Super Mario Maker 2 appears to add more than the bare minimum, especially with its much anticipated Story Mode.

Super Mario Maker 2’s Story Mode serves as a tutorial of sorts, but also gives early adopters who prefer to play rather than create, a solid set of levels for the game. If the Story Mode isn’t your thing, then the Course Maker mode may be right up your alley. If you have ever dreamt of making your own Super Mario games or levels, then this mode is perfect for you.

We know that Super Mario Maker 2 will have at least one new style (Super Mario 3D World), but we also have 5 more styles we’d like to see in the game. “Maybe we’ll get a Super Mario RPG Style or a Super Mario Sunshine Styles, or heck, why not a Captain Toad Style?” Creating is fun and all, but actually playing the Super Mario games is where its at!
