A New Look for Gobby Gang
Gobby Gang just got a serious makeover. Wandering Wizard and Matrioshka Games have revealed a revamped art style for the upcoming multiplayer party game, giving its chaotic underground adventures a much more colorful and expressive look.
The new visual overhaul introduces a lineup of bizarre playable creatures, including dragons, raccoons, fish, mushrooms, and more. Players can also customize their characters while causing mayhem with an assortment of weapons and tools. A new trailer gives a first look at the redesigned visuals and the game’s physics-driven chaos.
Gobby Gang is a four-player co-op physics heist game where players control mischievous goblins and other fantasy creatures fighting back against their oppressors deep underground. Each run takes place during an underground “Shift”. Here, teams must transport massive and often unstable objects through dangerous voxel caves.
The catch? The environment itself becomes the obstacle. Players have to dig, smash, and carve their own paths while hauling bombs, treasure orbs, and other unpredictable payloads. Naturally, things can go wrong very quickly.
According to Matrioshka Games, the team rebuilt much of Gobby Gang following its initial reveal in March 2026. The overhaul also adds new Critterz, treasures, items, unlockables, and progression systems.
Despite being developed by a team of fewer than a dozen people, the studio says it has focused on creating an experience packed with personality and replay value.
With its fresh art style and physics-fueled gameplay, Gobby Gang looks ready to deliver the kind of multiplayer chaos where even the best-laid plans can end with someone getting crushed by a collapsing tunnel.
