Survivor Mercs Heads to Full Launch This Summer With New Steam Demo

Join the Battle in Survivor Mercs

Snail Inc.’s indie publishing label, Wandering Wizard, and developer Wolpertinger Games have announced that Survivor Mercs, a high-intensity horde survival squad builder, is gearing up for a full release this summer on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. To mark the occasion, a brand-new free demo is now available on Steam, offering players an early chance to dive into the chaos.

In Survivor Mercs, players command a randomized clone leader tasked with guiding a squad of mercenaries through relentless battles against MEGA Corp’s mechanized forces. The core objective is simple but intense: survive long enough to escape with your haul, or push your luck for even greater rewards. Each mission contributes to long-term progression, allowing players to expand their bunker base, recruit new mercs, unlock upgrades, and gain powerful abilities.

The newly released demo features the full opening gameplay loop, though with a curated selection of mercenaries, bunker enhancements, gear, and commander trait combinations. It offers a solid glimpse of the strategic depth and fast-paced action that define the experience.

Currently in Steam Early Access, Survivor Mercs is actively evolving with the help of player feedback. This latest demo serves as both a teaser and a development milestone as the game moves toward its version 1.0 release and prepares to make its debut on consoles later this year.

Whether you’re new to the genre or a seasoned survivor, Survivor Mercs promises a blend of roguelite progression, squad tactics, and nonstop action.
