Wandering Wizard has confirmed that Above The Snow, the alpine-themed tycoon game from Above The Desk, will launch on Steam on April 23. Set in the 1960s Alps, the game combines cozy management with survival strategy, blending storytelling with base-building systems.
Players will build and customize a mountain lodge while managing dangerous trails, shifting weather, and rescue missions. A diverse cast of guests brings personality-driven challenges, where every decision affects reputation, crew dynamics, and survival outcomes. With over 20 hours of narrative and dynamic systems, the experience remains tense as storms intensify and competition grows. A Creative Mode is also available for players who prefer a more relaxed approach.
