Step Inside the Greek World in ARK: Survival Ascended
Studio Wildcard has officially released ARK: Astraeos – Heaven & Abyss, the final major expansion that completes the Greek mythology-inspired Astraeos adventure in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Covering more than 264 square kilometers, the new map introduces dramatic marble cliffs, ancient temples, floating islands, cherry blossom landscapes, and mysterious abyssal depths. Players can now explore two massive new regions: Helianthos, a vibrant paradise filled with flowers, peaceful wildlife, and sky islands, and Abyssanthos, a fog-covered underwater realm featuring enormous air bubbles and a mythical submerged city designed for expansive deep-sea base building.
The update also transforms ocean exploration with the arrival of the Trireme, an ancient warship capable of navigating dynamic waves and dangerous weather systems. A new exclusive creature, the aggressive Boaratos, joins Astraeos alongside challenging encounters with the Kraken, which now features separate surface and underwater boss battles. Additional minibosses, including the Colossus and Kroaratos, reward players with powerful divine gear such as the Divine Shield, Spear, Sword, and unique Spartan-themed equipment.
Beyond Astraeos, today’s update adds even more content across ARK. The desert-stalking Concavenator is now available in the base game, while the Tides of Fortune DLC introduces the massive Galleon warship and pirate land outposts packed with hidden treasure.
To celebrate the launch, ARK: Survival Ascended and several DLCs are available at discounts of up to 75% for a limited time.
For longtime survivors and newcomers alike, this update delivers one of ARK’s biggest adventures yet—and it’s a great time to dive back into the wild.
