Meet the Shadow Monarch in Solo Leveling: ARISE
Netmarble has released a major update for Solo Leveling: ARISE, introducing one of the most anticipated additions yet as Sung Jinwoo unlocks his powerful Monarch of Shadows’ Successor form. The new version brings a powerful take on the series’ iconic protagonist, along with fresh content and gameplay improvements.
The new Sung Jinwoo is a Dark-element Successor who builds upon the combat style of the original character while adding a unique transformation mechanic. During battle, he fights alongside his shadow army, chaining together devastating combo attacks. His signature abilities include Mirage Blade and Sovereign Doom, which unleash devastating attacks on enemies.
To celebrate his arrival, Netmarble has launched a special event that allows every player to unlock the Monarch of Shadows’ Successor simply by completing in-game missions. Since the event has no end date, players can recruit the new Jinwoo whenever they are ready.
The update also introduces Jung Yerim, a new Fire-element Supporter who strengthens allies with healing, protective shields, and buffs that increase Fire Overload damage, Burst damage, Attack Power, and Ultimate Move damage.
The update also raises Sung Jinwoo’s level cap from 150 to 160, adds the new “Monarch of Shadows: Vanquisher” Job, refreshes the Workshop of Brilliant Light with Baran as the new boss, and unlocks Hidden Chapters 11 and 12 in both Normal and Reverse Normal difficulties. Players can also take part in the new “Midnight Mermaid Mayhem!” event to earn additional rewards.
With new characters, tougher challenges, and more rewards, this update offers plenty for Solo Leveling: ARISE players to dive into.
