Welcome to Corsair Cove
Corsair Cove has officially launched on PC, bringing a fresh twist to the city-building genre with a pirate-themed strategy experience. Developed by Limbic Entertainment and published by Hooded Horse, the game is now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, with a day-one release on PC Game Pass.
Set during the final years of the Golden Age of Piracy, Corsair Cove puts players in charge of building and expanding a thriving pirate settlement as the Crown tightens its grip on the seas. Rather than simply surviving, your goal is to keep the pirate way of life alive against relentless pirate hunters.
Unlike traditional city builders, Corsair Cove focuses on vertical construction, allowing players to build settlements across cliffs and elevated terrain while making the most of limited space. Managing a successful pirate haven also means overseeing production chains with more than 50 different goods. From crafting cannons and spyglasses to producing clothing, ale, and other essentials, every resource supports your growing population.
Naval gameplay is another major part of the experience. Players can build and customize ships to explore nearby waters, defend their territory, and battle the Crown’s forces. Exploration also reveals hidden opportunities and dangers, adding more depth to the strategic gameplay.
Progression follows four unique paths: Notoriety, Empire, Seafaring, and Wealth, each unlocking new missions, buildings, ships, and upgrades. Players can also connect different parts of their island using bridges, elevators, and ziplines to keep resources moving efficiently.
With its blend of vertical city-building, naval combat, and pirate management, Corsair Cove offers a unique take on the strategy genre. If you’re looking for a city builder with a pirate twist, this new release is worth checking out.
