CAAAHR! Is Racing Its Way to Steam on 2nd November 2026

Scream Your Way to Victory in CAAAHR!

Assemble Entertainment and solo developer Mateo Covic have officially announced CAAAHR!, a chaotic, voice-controlled co-op racing game launching on November 2, 2026, on PC via Steam. The game made its debut during the gamescom awesome indies showcase and already stands out as one of the event’s most unusual multiplayer titles.

In CAAAHR!, two players share control of a single car. One player is responsible for steering through dangerous tracks filled with jumps, traps, boosts, and tight turns, while the other controls the accelerator using only their voice. The louder the scream, the faster the car speeds ahead, turning every race into a hilarious test of teamwork and lung power.

The game supports online and local co-op, and players can even tackle the challenge solo. It also features online leaderboards, an in-game timer, optional shortcuts for speedrunners, and a massive handcrafted level designed to reward both coordination and creativity.

Speaking about the project, developer Mateo Covic said he wanted to create another co-op experience that is easy to understand but quickly descends into panic. He joked that using a player’s voice as the gas pedal was “too stupid not to try” and hoped both players and their neighbors would enjoy the experience.

CAAAHR! will also be playable during gamescom 2026 as part of Assemble Entertainment’s showcase lineup.

If you’re looking for a multiplayer game that replaces quiet concentration with nonstop laughter and screaming, CAAAHR! might be the wildest race of the year.
