The updated demo for Pumpkin Woods is making a timely return, giving players another chance to experience the game just ahead of two major Steam events. Indie developer Enchanted Pumpkin Co. has confirmed that the refreshed demo will be available starting May 26 as part of the Witches, Wizards and Warlocks Sale, setting the stage for its appearance during Steam Next Fest, scheduled from June 15 to June 22.
This latest version of the demo offers a noticeably improved experience. Players can expect a visual overhaul, expanded areas to explore, and new interactive systems that bring more life to the world. Set in a dark yet cozy autumn woodland, Pumpkin Woods blends open-world survival mechanics with a relaxed, magical atmosphere. Players travel through the forest on a customizable wagon, decorate their own secluded witch cabin, and gather resources to craft potions or trade with merchants. The game also introduces social elements, allowing players to meet villagers and adopt companions such as cats or even unicorns.
