La Quimera Shoots Its Way to Steam Early Access

Join the Sci-Fi Journey in La Quimera

Game developer Reburn has officially launched La Quimera, its debut narrative-driven sci-fi shooter, in Early Access on Steam. Known previously as 4A Games Ukraine, a key contributor to the acclaimed Metro franchise, Reburn is stepping into the spotlight with an original IP set in a dystopian Latin American future.

La Quimera takes place in the sprawling fictional city of Nuevo Caracas, where chaos brews amid technological collapse and cutthroat corporate agendas. Players step into the boots of a struggling private military company caught between rival factions, mysterious organizations, and strange phenomena that distort the boundary between reality and illusion.

Equipped with powerful exosuits and advanced weaponry, players engage in fast-paced combat while unraveling the game’s layered story. Reburn aims to deliver a gripping narrative and immersive world design, shaped in part by feedback from Early Access players. Future updates will include expanded levels, refined gameplay mechanics, and deeper narrative integration.

The development team boasts a strong pedigree, featuring talent from acclaimed titles such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Metro 2033, Last Light, and Exodus. Leading the project is Oleksandr Kostiuk, former gameplay and AI designer on Metro Exodus, with CEO Dmytro Lymar, who previously headed 4A Games Ukraine, overseeing the studio’s vision.

La Quimera is now available on Windows PC via Steam Early Access for $29.99, €29,99, or £24.99. For full details and ongoing updates, players can visit the game’s Steam page.
