A Fantasy World Awaits in Blade & Soul NEO
NC America is bringing Blade & Soul NEO, the modern remaster of the iconic MMORPG, to Steam following its Western debut on NCSOFT’s PURPLE platform in February. Players can now wishlist the game on Steam ahead of its upcoming release.
Already available for free on PURPLE, Blade & Soul NEO offers an enhanced experience while remaining true to the original. The remaster features upgraded visuals, a faithful recreation of the original storyline, and signature gameplay elements like Infinite Windwalk and action-based combat. Since its initial launch on February 25, the game has received two free updates, Moonwater Plains 1 and 2, with additional content planned through summer 2025.
Blade & Soul NEO reimagines the beloved wuxia-themed world for a new generation of players. Players begin their journey as members of the Hongmoon Clan under Master Hong, only to witness its sudden destruction at the hands of the antagonist Jinsoyun and her allies. From there, the game unfolds into a rich narrative of revenge, loyalty, and adventure, playable solo or with others.
Key features include a deep character creation system, fully remastered graphics and animations, a revamped skill-based combat system, challenging dungeon encounters, and the freedom to explore a vast world with Infinite Windwalk.
