MultiVersus Dataminer Claims Mark Hamill Could Be Voice of Joker

MultiVersus Might Feature Mark Hamill’s Voice as Joker

A MultiVersus dataminer has revealed that Mark Hamill could be reprising his role as the voice of Joker. He was actually one of the most recognizable voices of Batman’s iconic nemesis in Batman: The Animated Series. Now, it would seem that he is lending his voice to the popular video game as well.

A datamine for MultiVersus this March fueled fan speculations that the Joker will be a fighter in the game. A quick audio clip was shared on social media, showcasing the Joker’s lines. It seems that it was all about the Joker’s match announcement lines. Plus, the voice behind Joker also sounded very much like the actor who plays Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise.

Hamill has actually reprised his role as The Clown Prince of Crime multiple times already. He had done it quite a few times since his first appearance in 1992’s globally popular animated series. This also includes games such as the Batman: Arkham series and Lego DC Super-Villains.

It is also worth noting that devs managed to bring back Kevin Conroy as Batman. This suggests that having Hamill’s voice or Joker is not exactly a huge stretch. After all, he lent his voice to the character very frequently over the years.

Mark Hamill is one of the most prolific VOs for the Joker ever,” a fan wrote. “If it is him, this is very, very good.”

MultiVersus devs have neither confirmed nor denied these claims. With that said, it is wise for the game’s following to manage their expectations.

MultiVersus is a free-to-play competitive fighting game series. It showcases characters from different Warner Bros. properties. In fact, very recently, devs added Rick Sanchez from the adult animated series Rick and Morty.
