MultiVersus Hits 10 Million Player Milestone in Only 3 Weeks

MultiVersus Has Hit Its 10M Player Milestone

MultiVersus has already surpassed 10 million players in only three weeks’s time. Its numbers on statistics website Tracker.gg has confirmed that the game has just over 10,255,00o unique accounts. The site accesses its API to pull its statistics. With that said, this number should be pretty accurate.

MultiVersus launched in closed beta on July 19th before it became open to the masses just a week later. This indicates that the game gained approximately three to four million players week on week.

Plus, multiple sources have reported that it reached its five million mark only seven days ago. It has become clear that Warner Bros.’ game has had some pretty impressive growth. It is worth noting, however, that these numbers reflect all platforms and not only PC users. Still, it is a mighty player base for a game that has only been in the market for less than a month.

MultiVersus has definitely had an awesome few weeks. It had a stellar showcase at EVO 2022. It had a $10,000 prize pot and two underdog champions who subverted the meta to claim victory. Despite some minor hiccups, the platform fighter gaming community certainly embraced the game with open arms.

Fans of the franchise have been excitedly anticipating for Season 1. Unfortunately, devs confirmed last week that they decided to delay its release. “We want to let everyone know that we are delaying the start of Season 1 and the release of Morty to a later date,” devs announced on social media. “We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our community that we are dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players.”

Sadly, devs have yet to announce a new date for its release. When it finally arrives, players can expect co-op arcade mode, ranked mode, and a 50-tier battle pass.
