Midnight Suns Latest Trailer Showcases Captain MarvelÂ
Marvel’s IP has grown exponentially in video games. Recently, 2K Games along with Marvel Entertainment and Firaxis Games announced Midnight Suns, a strategy game that includes the world’s favorite Marvel superheroes. The game is set to release on October 7th, 2022 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Today, the developers have released a gameplay showcase for Captain Marvel, one of the most powerful characters in the universe.
In the trailer, fans get a first look at Captain Marvel, a dominant female figure, as well as an insight into a new mechanic that was specifically designed for her character and playstyle. Furthermore, players will get a look at more of her skills, abilities and overall potential as she gets into the late-game stages of the fight.
In Midnight Suns, Lillith, the Mother of Demons, has taken control of Venom and has led him to fight for her cause. As a result, her army continues to grow and the team requires the help of various superheroes including Spider-Man, Blade and much more. Additionally, players must lead a team of unexpected super heroes through the battlefield in various precarious situations. Midnight Suns draws inspiration from turn-based strategy games such as X-Com and boasts tactical elements and more.
Interested fans can pre-order the game here. Currently, there are four editions available which are the Standard, Enhanced, Digital + and Legendary Editions. Each one has its own benefits and bonuses such as premium skins and packs.
