Marvel’s Midnight Suns Set For Release In Early October
Marvel’s IP has grown significantly in video games with the release of Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Recently, the company announced Midnight Suns. Today, 2K and Marvel Entertainment confirmed that the game will be releasing on October 7th, 2022. It is a tactical-RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel universe that will be available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will release on the Switch at a later date.
In the game, Lillith and her horde have united the powers of the Hydra. As a result, players must lead various super heroes to victory against these vile creatures. The Midnight Suns are Earth’s last defense and Iron-Man, Doctor Strange and Blade, amongst others, must fight to survive.
The game, developed by Firaxis Interactive, allows players to engage in serious tactical play wherein they can create their perfect squad and use various skills and abilities to win. Furthermore, the game takes a dark twist on the Marvel universe. The trailer, released during today’s Summer Games Fest, gave fans an insight into the game and some of the playable heroes. The list now includes Spiderman, Wolverine and more. Is it enough to stop Lillith’s horde?
Interested fans can pre-order the game here. Fans can purchase the following editions, Standard, Enhanced, Digital + and Legendary. The prices range from $59.99 USD to $99.99 USD and each edition offers unique benefits such as cosmetic skins and the Season Pass.
