Fortnite’s Next Concert Could be a Night to Remember
A Lady Gaga concert? In my multiplayer battle royale shooter? It’s more likely than you think. As of right now, there hasn’t been a formal announcement for it, but a fair bit of evidence is pointing to the popular music artist being featured in Fortnite’s next event.
For those not in the know, yes, Fortnite does in fact host virtual musical performances of famous artists. They’ve done one for Marshmello before, and one for Ariana Grande. They’re pretty much exactly what you’d expect them to be.
Exhibit A: a collaborate emote was added to the game, featuring a stylized version of one of Lady Gaga’s most famous songs.

Exhibit B: Lady Gaga was one of several artists brought into the Fortnite universe, able to be heard on in-game radios.
Exhibit C: Leaked info. As always with leaks, take this with a grain of salt, but there have been a few leaks of concert stage assets appearing in the game’s files.

These all come to a head with Exhibit D, though. Remember Epic Games’ court debacle against Apple? A few names for upcoming events were listed there, and according to sources, Lady Gaga was firmly among them. Two other names have already seen their concerts appear in Fortnite, and it seems like a certain someone is next in line.
