Genshin Impact 2.8 Trailer Is Out Now
Genshin Impact 2.8 is going to be called Sumer Fantasia. Fortunately for fans of the franchise, the update is set to come out real soon. It is due for release on July 13th. Its teaser trailer gave fans a sneak peek of what they can expect once it rolls out.
The trailer gave a quick glimpse of Sumeru and its new locations. Like any other Genshin Impact environment, there will be rainforests, deserts, mountains, and beautiful blossoms. “The height of summer is a wonderful time of the year,” Hoyoverse said. “There are always many strange, interesting events taking place.”
Genshin Impact 2.8 is not all about beauty, however. Fans will also come across “a cursed blade of unknown origin, a mysterious unsolved case, and the familiar but not too familiar islands far at sea.”
Genshin Impact’s Summertime Odyssey event is also going to feature Fischl. According to multiple reports, Fischl is getting a new outfit alongside Diluc, whose new threads will have “new idle animation, effects, and backstory.”
As for banners, fans will see the comeback of Klee, Kazuha, and Yoimiya. Shikanoin Heizou is making a debut as well. However, they will have to wait for the second part of the 2.8 update for Yoimiya. The other three will be immediately available once the update arrives.
For those who do not know, Heizou is actually a secondary character for Kazuha and Klee’s banners, Leaves in the Wind and Sparkling Steps. Furthermore, Kazuha is one that Genshin Impact players can safely wish for. He will fit perfectly for improving just about any elemental team.
Inazuma, on the other hand, has been heavily featured in multiple 3.0 update leaks. However, fans may not see him for quite some time. Still, those who want to wait may want to dip into their Primogems savings to get him.
