Nightwing is the Star
WB Montreal has finally released a brand new premiere trailer for the upcoming Gotham Knights game during Summer Game Fest, this time focusing mainly on Nightwing.
The new trailer mainly focused on Nightwing, how he feels responsible for Gotham City’s safety as it gave him everything, and ends with Nightwing promising Bruce Wayne’s grave that the city is safe in his hands. The trailer also shows off a wide variety of Nightwing’s customization options which will be essential given that the game will allow co-op players to use the same character if they wish to do so.
WB Montreal has also recently shown off new gameplay footage for both Redhood and Nightwing, showcasing their abilities and how players will be able to customize their own playstyle as well as the characters’ looks. The company has also announced a $299 Collector’s Edition that is now up for pre-order and will include the deluxe edition of the game, Gotham Knight’s exclusive New Guard Statue, a Gotham City: City of Bridges collectible map, and many more goodies
Gotham Knights is WB Montreal’s new superhero game based on DC Comics. It takes place in a darker Gotham City that has just lost both Batman and Detective Gordon. The GCPD is now corrupt and can’t’ be trusted, and the city’s worst villains are now back in full force trying to take advantage of Batman’s death and take control of the city. In the midst of it all, a mysterious new force known as the Court of Owls has allegedly been controlling the city behind the curtains and is now the main focus of the Bat-family comprised of Nightwing, Redhood, Batgirl, and Robin.
Gotham Knights is available for pre-order right now for the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
