No, You Didn’t Miss Goat Simulator 2
Summer Game Fest was packed with announcements last night. We got the (official) reveal of The Last of Us Part 1, No Place for Bravery, as well as new trailers for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and Callisto Protocol. Then, from out of nowhere, Coffee Stain announces Goat Simulator 3.
We haven’t heard any news about Goat Simulator since it hit Game Pass in 2019. If you’re wondering if you missed Goat Simulator 2, you didn’t! It doesn’t exist. Only something as crazy as this series would be bold enough to entirely skip a numbered entry.
The trailer for Goat Simulator 3 is just what you would expect. Imagine a casual day of people leisurely enjoying the beach and boardwalk. Suddenly, goats strike. They headbutt everything in sight, they arm themselves with rockets, they shoot fiery lasers from their face. One of them drives a car down the boardwalk. They harness elemental powers of electricity and wind. There are no survivors.
With as much chaos packed into the first Goat Simulator, you wonder what is left for Goat Simulator 3. We will just have to find out. Luckily, the wait will be over in the Fall.
The new game will be coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, but it will be launching on Epic Games Store. Sorry, Steam users. Surely, there will be a time when it comes to Steam though. Goat Simulator 3 will be launching in the Fall for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
