Dozens of Publishers and Developers
Nothing brings people together quite like a festival. Today the Summer Game Fest announced it is hosting Developers and Publishers once again on June 9th. Bringing world premiers of games and highlighting indie games in a global celebration of video games themselves, this June marks the Summer Game Fest’s third year running. “It’s year three for Summer Game Fest, and I’m excited to be able to bring the community together once again to celebrate everything we love about games.” Says Geoff Keighley, Curator of Summer Game Fest.
Of course, the festival will feature over 30 developers and publishers. Each full of excitement to show off their games. It isn’t just game premiers either. Fans can expect news, gameplay demos, and more. All being livestreamed free across major platforms. Additionally, the developers range across genres. The festival features studios such as, Bandai Namco, Capcom, PlayStation, Netflix and more.
“Last year, we had an unbelievable number of unique and diverse games and this year will be no different. Well, a little different, in that it might be even better.” Says founder of Double Fine Productions and co-founder of Day of the Devs, Tim Schafer.
