The House of the Dead Remake has been a long time coming. Twenty-six years later and its legacy is still shambling on. Next month, the remake will be coming to Nintendo Switch, but hardcore fans will be able to get The House of the Dead Remake: Limidead Edition.
Yup, they went there. The Limidead Edition is not going to be one of those super-expensive collector’s editions, where people shell out hundreds of dollars. It is not clear how much players will have to pay for the standard edition, but the Limidead Edition will run you about $50.
What you will get in The House of the Dead Remake: Limidead Edition is a physical copy of the game. It comes with a sheet of stickers of enemies and items in the game, as well as character stands of the standard and chainsaw zombies. The game will also come in a limited edition box with a lenticular cover. So, the image on the cover will change as you shift your view of it.
The Limidead Edition is available on Video Games Plus, but its release date is set for December 31st, 2022. It is most likely a placeholder, since the actual game is coming out in early April.
The House of the Dead Remake will be coming out on April 7th for Nintendo Switch.
