Gotham Knights Could Launch on April 24th
Gotham Knights was delayed to an undisclosed date in 2022. Since the announcement, fans have not heard of a concrete launch date for the much-awaited title. However, it would seem that an Irish retailer has jumped the gun.
“Gotham Knights releasing earlier than expected?” a fan wrote on social media, sharing a photo of the game with a date stamp on it. “Just seen this in an Irish game store.”
Considering that the name of the Irish game store in question is unknown, fans must take this leaked information with a healthy grain of salt. According to the photo, Gotham Knights may be releasing on April 24th.
The photo looks relatively reliable. However, devs have still not given an actual public date for the launch as of this writing. Should the leaked release date be true, WB Games Montreal still has over a month to say something official.
An April 24th release date for Gotham Knights may be a bit too soon. After all, it is already March. Also, April 24th is a Sunday. Games usually do not release on a Sunday. Still, it does not necessarily mean that the leaked info does not offer any insight.
The leaked date could be a place holder. However, even if it was that, place holder dates are usually for the first or last day of the month.
This is actually not the first time that potential launch information for a WB game has slipped out. In fact, just hours before Gotham Knights release date leaks came out, a data mine of MultiVersus uncovered the possibility of Wreck-It Ralph and Naruto being added to the game.
At the moment, all fans can do is speculate. So far, no implicated party has provided any comments regarding the leaks.
