The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories Will Let Players Plan a Wedding
The Sims 4 has been in the gaming market for almost eight years now. Fortunately for the franchise’s fans, Electronic Arts has no plans of stopping when it comes to giving it more content. Cottage Living was the last one devs rolled out. The next DLC coming to the game will be wedding-themed.
The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories is the next Game Pack on the schedule. Game Packs are the franchise’s mid-sized expansions. They are smaller than Expansion Packs, yet larger than Stuff Packs.
My Wedding Stories will do exactly what players would expect from a wedding-themed DLC. It will allow fans to plan their own dream wedding. The planning process includes it all, from the proposal down to the reception.Â
The Sims 4 players are given a selection of potential wedding venues to choose from. The game respect and celebration for diversity are apparent with the inclusion of various cultures from different parts of the world. Examples of which are henna tattoos for an Indian wedding or a traditional tea ceremony for a Chinese one.
Players will be in charge of pre-wedding traditions, including choosing a designated Sim of Honor. They will also have to plan engagement parties, hen and stag nights, and rehearsal dinners. All of these in-game events will be complete with speeches, wedding gifts, food, toasts, and dancing. Basically, it is the excitement of wedding planning without the actual real life cost.
The Sims 4: My Wedding Stories will launch on February 17th for PS4, PS5, PC, Mac, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Thankfully for fans of The Sims, EA confirmed that they are going to do a deep dive of the expansion this Friday, February 11th at 10am PT.
