Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Is Getting a New Patch Soon
GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is getting a new patch next week. Since its official launch last year, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy players have complained about their disappointing experiences with the game. Across all the three titles included in the bundle, various bugs have been found in astoundingly huge numbers.
“New patches are coming next week for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition across all platforms,” Rockstar Games confirmed on social media. “We appreciate the community’s patience and support.”
According to the studio, they are going to roll out this patch for all platforms at once. This is unlike the staggered releases that previous updates had.
At the moment, it remains unclear what this patch is going to do. It is not even clear if it is just one big patch or if it is going to be a bunch of patches. However, this will be the latest in a long list of updates for the relatively troubled GTA Trilogy collection that bundled Vice City, Grand Theft Auto 3, and San Andreas.
With no further information from the devs, fans are expecting the patch to fix any bugs once and for all, in addition to some performance tweaks. It is welcome information for the GTA community to know that Rockstar will continue to update the Trilogy by any means.
GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition came out last November. As the gaming public already knows, its launch came with a significant number of technical issues. Some data miners even found “unintended” documents such as unlicensed music and developer notes within its game files.
Devs have subsequently apologized to its fans for the state of the bundle when it came out. Thankfully, they have promised that they will continue to release updates to improve the title.
