Free games with Gold have been a staple for Xbox since the Xbox 360. Back then, it was only two free games. Nonetheless, it was still an appreciated addition to the other benefits of having a gold membership.
When Xbox 360 games were finally made backward compatible on the Xbox One a few years ago, Microsoft added 2 free Xbox 360 games every month to the already available 2 free Xbox One games. They’ve held true to this formula for many years with little to no repeats.
January’s upcoming free games have been revealed on the Xbox Youtube channel. The games are NeuroVoider, Aground, Radiant Silvergun and Space Invader Infinity Gene.
Since Game Pass is very popular now, and it’s bundled with Xbox Live Gold, most people will have access to these games. Xbox doesn’t put them front and center as they used to in The Xbox 360 days, but the games still aren’t hard to find. Just navigate the Xbox home menu until you find them.
