You Can Finally Recruit the Pyro
If youโve played a lot of video games, you probably have a list of characters youโd want to have at your side when trying to take over the world. If youโre anything like us, Team Fortress 2โs Pyro is somewhere on that list, both because theyโre very effective at causing mass destruction and for the sheer entertainment value.
Fortunately, the team behind Evil Genius 2: World Domination agrees with us, and now the Pyro can be hired as a henchman with the new Team Fortress 2: Pyro DLC Pack hitting the game today for free. This DLC includes the Pyro henchman, some accompanying recruitment side stories, and 3 new loot items: the Briefcase of Australium, the Briefcase of Intelligence, and the Payload.
Also released today is the paid Rise of the Valkyries DLC pack, which allows you to hire new henchman Doomilda, a once-promising opera singer whose voice has become a deadly weapon. This fierce warrior comes wielding devastating musical weaponry and a song that could lead you to victoryโor straight to destruction.
You see, Doomildaโs plans to become a rising opera star were thwarted by a certain evil geniusโs actions, and now her recruitment side story focuses on her quest for glass-shattering sonic vengeance. In order to recruit this towering valkyrie, you must first convince her to set her vendetta aside and join you.
Good luck with that, players, sheโs absolutely furious and looks like she could crush your head with one hand. Obviously, itโs possible, but jeez, this lady isnโt messing around.
In Norse mythology, Valkyries were known as the choosers of the slain, and in the opera field, the women who sing the most strenuous roles tend to be well-built. Doomilda certainly lives up to both legacies and looks like a lot of fun to have in your evil lairโฆ assuming you can persuade her to move in instead of burning it all down.
The Rise of the Valkyries DLC pack is available as part of the Evil Genius 2: World Domination Season Pass or separately for $4.99 USD.
