This Week’s Nintendo Download Highlights Crash Bandicoot 4

Anthropomorphic Animals and Apocalyptic Hellscapes Storm the Nintendo eShop

This week’s Nintendo Download has come to America, and we think we can see two overwhelming themes in this collection of titles: cute anthro animals and horrible, destructive apocalypses. The Switch eShop highlights this time are Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse, and Cyanide & Happiness – Freakpocalypse. In order: cute animals fighting the apocalypse, zombie apocalypse, and a cute apocalypse. If that’s all a bit too dark for you, then don’t worry, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is also being spotlighted this week, just in time for a Super Mario Bros.-inspired event. Buy clothing, furniture, and even Warp Pipes in the fashion of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and the rest of their friends (and friendly enemies) to celebrate Mario’s 35th anniversary.

Speaking of Mario, the whole eShop is celebrating its 35th anniversary this week, which means you can save 35% on select Mario games while the event lasts. This deal includes Super Mario Maker 2, Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Party game, and even Luigi’s Mansion 3. Personally, we recommend that last one, because Luigi needs more love. If you’d rather check out the savings on all these games before committing to anything, you can do that right here. My Nintendo members will also earn Gold Points on qualifying digital purchases, if that sweetens the pot. These deals will only last until 11:59 p.m. PT on March 13th, so pounce on them while you have the chance.

Also new on the eShop are these titles:
