Ubisoft Delays Riders Republic Until Later in 2021

Riders Republic Is Another Delayed Title This Year

Ubisoft has officially delayed its upcoming racing title, Riders Republic. Ubisoft will be taking the additional time to smooth out the experience like so many other developers delaying their titles lately such as Avalanche Software with Hogwarts Legacy. The statement announcing Riders Republic’s delay didn’t mention an official release date for the upcoming title, but it will likely be in Q4. Riders Republic will be releasing for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Google Stadia.

“Hey Riders, in September, we gave you a first look at our massive multiplayer playground in Riders Republic,” said an official statement from Ubisoft. “We promised an action-packed outdoor sports park, filled with all-out mass races with more than 50 fellow riders on next-gen consoles, a variety of diverse activities, and insane stunts. We can’t wait to have you traverse our vibrant world and live out your own Rider’s fantasy.”

“Today, we want to let you know that we have made the decision to move our release to later this year,” continued the official Ubisoft statement. “This additional time will allow our passionate team to deliver the best fun-fueled experience to our players. Thank you so much for your support and understanding. Stay safe and get ready to join the madness of Riders Republic soon!”

While it’s a shame to see more titles getting delayed lately, it’ll be nice to see a better game created as a result. Are you bummed that Riders Republic got delayed or are you glad the developers will take the time to smooth out the gameplay? Let us know in the comments below!
